If your business has not received disaster relief funding such as Paycheck Protection Program, SBA Economic Injury Disaster Relief Loan or any other CARES Act funded business assistance program you may be eligible for a $5,000 or $10,000 grant. |

SBA Economic Injury Disaster Loans to provide relief to U.S. agricultural businesses |
SBA will begin accepting new Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL) and EIDL Advance applications on a limited basis only to provide relief to U.S. agricultural businesses. At this time, only agricultural business applications will be accepted due to limitations in funding availability and the unprecedented submission of applications already received. |
The new eligibility is made possible as a result of the latest round of funds appropriated by Congress in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

SBA Economic Injury Disaster Loans

SBA has resumed processing EIDL applications that were submitted before the portal stopped accepting new applications on April 15 and will be processing these applications on a first-come, first-served basis. | This will help meet capital needs caused by the declared disaster and help pay financial obligations and operating expenses had the disaster not occurred. EIDL does not replace lost revenue, profits or fund expansions. Loans limited to $2m, less business interruption insurance and other recoveries. Requires collateral. Apply online. |

If your business is experiencing capital access barriers in light of a declared disaster | Provides loan guarantees and direct loans for small businesses. Loan amounts range from $500 to $10,000. Term up to 5 years, fully amortized. |

California Capital Access Program for Small Business (CalCap) |
The California Capital Access Program for Small Business (CalCAP SB or Program) encourages banks and other financial institutions to make loans to small businesses that have difficulty obtaining financing. | If you own a small business and need a loan for start-up, expansion or working capital, you may receive more favorable loan terms from a lender if your loan is enrolled in the CalCAP Loan Loss Reserve Program. This program helps communities by providing financing to businesses that create jobs and improve the economy. CalCAP is a loan loss reserve program which may provide up to 100% coverage on losses as a result of certain loan defaults. With CalCAP portfolio support, a lender may be more comfortable underwriting small business loans. Check to see if your lender participates in (CalCap) if not it’s easy to get signed up. Federal Income Tax Extension | Taxpayers do not need to file any additional forms or call the IRS to qualify for this automatic federal tax filing and payment relief. Franchise Tax Board |
State Income Tax Deadline Extended | FTB is postponing until July 15 the filing and payment deadlines for all individuals and business entities for: 2019 tax returns, 2019 tax return payments, 2020 1st and 2nd quarter estimate payments, 2020 LLC taxes and fees, 2020 Non-wage withholding payments. Taxpayers do not need to claim any special treatment or call FTB to qualify for this relief. Taxpayers claiming the special COVID-19 relief should write the name of the state of emergency (for example, COVID-19) in black ink at the top of the tax return to alert FTB of the special extension period. If taxpayers are e-filing, they should follow the software instructions to enter disaster information. | |

Small Business Paycheck Protection Program Reopened April 27th. |
The Paycheck Protection Program provides small businesses with funds to pay up to 8 weeks of payroll costs including benefits. Funds can also be used to pay interest on mortgages, rent, and utilities. | Funds are provided in the form of loans that will be fully forgiven when used for payroll costs, interest on mortgages, rent, and utilities (due to likely high subscription, at least 75% of the forgiven amount must have been used for payroll). Loan payments will also be deferred for six months. No collateral or personal guarantees are required. Neither the government nor lenders will charge small businesses any fees. |
